- The Vegetable and Fruit Improvement Center (VFIC), based out of Texas A&M University, and in conjunction with the Texas Produce Convention is hosting a single day conference in Austin, TX on August 21st. It will discuss the changing patterns in the fruit and vegetable industry related to the shift in consumer demands toward increased health benefits in fruit and vegetables. The VFIC would like to inform all Registered Dietitians of this conference due to the wide range of material that will be covered. We feel it will be beneficial and applicable to the dietetic professional. Also, the conference has been approved for attendees to receive 7 CPEU hours.
